The Commissioners held a workshop Wednesday but nothing was brought up about Elk Landing. We’re being as vigilant as possible since there was nothing on the agenda at meeting before this one either, but it became an important topic that evening. We’ll have to monitor the situation to see where it goes from here, but you never know for there may be little or no advance notice from the Mayor and Commissioners.
We will say that this was one of the best managed meetings that we’ve seen in many years. Commissioner Givens chaired the meeting in the absence of the mayor. His experience as a coach, vice-principal and educator were obvious as he guided the board through the discussions and the topics at hand.
So the Blogosphere largely rested today, except for a few informational postings that came in from various sources.
