The meeting is over and we’ll just prepare a few quick notes right now. It wrapped up a few minutes ago and was all done in a largely professional manner. The commissioners clearly heard the message on the importance of an impartial, independent investigation before the meeting got underway this evening but the large crowd helped reinforce the point on the SPCA and on the budget concerns too. Someone Noticed has to believe that the board will see that this is a thoroughly done independent investigation. To do anything but this considering the perfect storm that formed over Cecil County and was required to get to this point would be a terrible political and public realtions mistake.
We’ll write more as we time permits and we reflect on this Cecil County Story.
Things like this certainly don’t help as we try to recruit relocating BRAC workers from Fort Monmouth.
