We were pleased to be introduced to the Bill Hughes Gazette today on www.flickr.com. In the 1980s and early 1990s, Bill worked as a photojournalist for the Cecil Whig and the News Journal. He also freelanced for the Associated Press, USA Today, and some other newspapers. We remember some of his fine work back in the decade when he followed in the footsteps of a popular photographer, Jim Cheeseman. This evening we’ve been delighted to spend an hour or so paging through images that capture in a unique way Cecil County and the rural surrounding environs here in our region. Our readers will enjoy seeing his work published again so we’re linking to it here and we’ve added an RSS feed to Someone Noticed so we can regularly keep on eye on some of his valued work again.
Thanks Bill for publishing more valued local content on the Internet
