There is a need for insightful news and commentary content in Cecil County, as we’ve mentioned many times. Hopefully, someone will step forward and address the opportunity that has resulted over the years as legacy media pulled back from proving deeper quality content in this market. Or perhaps a cluster of bloggers will seize the opportunity, which is being presented. Its happening to some degree now with a number of smaller operations pushing original copy and editorial matter on the web.
Since this is a subject of interest to us, we keep an eye on what’s happening in some of the adjoining markets. Another lively and interesting virtual news sites, which caught our attention is the Chestertown Spy.
