Nonprofit Grant Funds Installation of Community Garden in Front of Circuit Court Building

The project going on in front of the Circuit Court building on Main Street is related to putting in a community garden, Commissioner Jablonski reported at the town meeting. “There’ve been a lot of questions about what’s happening . . . and the questions are who is paying for it and what’s involved,” she continued. “It is not costing anyone any money” since it was all done by grant money. The non-profit arm of the Department of Juvenile Services obtained an $80,000 grant from the TKAF fund to cover the cost.
