We’re pleased to see that the Elkton Alliance Blog, Relfections, is beginning to promote events downtown since we mentioned its arrival in the blogsphere. After our posting two days ago, they’ve added a piece about the upcoming firefighters challenge. We often cross-post the opening of pieces from other local weblogs, when it involves a local subject, and we’re pleased to do that here, as the Alliance begins to build traffic for its blog. Reflections will help them with the promotion of Main Street as they start building content.

The time is fast approaching when Elkton gears up for our Annual Fall Fest. This year, we will celebrate the theme “Blast from the Past.” The Friday Night Kick-Off Party will feature an old fashioned Sock-Hop featuring DJ Mac with games such as a hula hoop contest, limbo, and best 50′s costume.
