A recent article in Sail magazine has caused a small uproar in Chesapeake City because the waterfront town is portrayed as being a violent, Wild West sort of port. Not so, say town officials, who are scratching their heads over the article in the August edition of the boating publication.
The article is entitled “The Town Crazy” and features an illustration of a battered sailor at the helm of his boat, while on dock a crowd has gathered, waving pitchforks and clubs at the departing sailboat.
