The Chesapeake City Volunteer Fire Company has joined a growing list of individuals and organizations providing local news content on the web. We discovered the site some months ago so when we want information on emergency calls or general fire company news in the canal town we surf over to that web site. The Company, through its Public Information Officer, publishes a frequently updated fire log, stories and photos related to incidents, and general news about happenings within the organization.
We’ve made it one of regular reading sites as we keep up on local happenings in the canal town and we’ve also added an RSS feed to the sidebars of Someone Noticed so that the latest fire alarm information scrolls up on our Cecil County news blog.
