I received word this morning that last night at the Tuesday evening County Commissioner meeting the Commissioners went into closed session to hire a paid lobbyist to go to Annapolis and lobby legislators to oppose two key upcoming bills. The first bill is the FOP bill that would put a referendum question on the 2010 ballot with regard to use of binding arbitration during salary/benefits disputes. . . .
