It appears electioneeering in Elkton is entering the web 2.0 era since some candidates are creating social networking pages that help them share information about their campaign. The most recent municipal candidate to create a presence on Faecbook is Joe Ulrich. A few weeks ago Wes Walker, candidate for mayor, created a site. At the county level, some advocacy groups and many candidates have been making extensive use of Facebook to promote events, share news and generally increase support.
