Cecil County picked up 404 new voters since September’s primary election, a relatively insignificant change in the county’s political breakdown.
By the Oct. 12 deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 2 general election, 59,741 were registered in Cecil County, up from 59,337.
Of those, 24,494 are Democrats and 22,826 are Republicans. There are also 11,197 residents who are not affiliated with a party, as well as 207 who registered Libertarian and 142 with the Green party.
Another 24 are registered with the Constitution Party and 851 are affiliated with other parties or options.
