From the Havre de Grace Patch, Updated at 8:45 p.m., Sunday Evening, Dec. 26, 2010

UPDATED: 8:45 —— Conditions at 8:45 p.m. in Havre de Grace were nowhere near as treacherous as predictions suggested they’d be, with only a light dusting coating most of the city.
Still, travel concerns linger throughout the region.
Governor Martin O’Malley has asked motorist to take caution if commuting Sunday night.
“Drivers need to be extremely cautious as temperatures fall overnight,” he said in a statement. “Safety for the traveling public and visitors to our State is extremely important. We ask that drivers use extreme caution especially along bridges, ramps and overpasses.”
The Patch worked it. Didn’t hear anything about Havre de Grace from anyone else.
Why is it that weathermen can be accurate 1% of the time and we are thrilled as long as the weather is nicer than they predicted?
They should become politicians…tell us before election, how badly they will do and how corrupt they really are. Then, when only one thing follows their campaign promises, we will adore them and quite possibly re-elect them.
