It Was a Scorcher in Downtown Elkton as Temperature Hit Triple Digits

Elkton – July 22, 2011 — It was a scorcher in downtown Elkton this afternoon.  As temperatures all across the region hit triple digits, the Cecil Bank digital thermometer alternated between 101 and 102-degrees in the mid-afternoon Friday.   The oppressive heat and high humidity made it feel like 120-degrees according to Baltimore television stations.  And weather forecasters weren’t promising much relief in Cecil County  this weekend.
