Such a wonderful open tract in the heart of the county
On this page, we’ve posted images of Elk Landing, a partnership between the Town of Elkton and a private foundation charged with developing this historic property. It was once described as a priceless resource by the town and we really are lucky to have such a large undeveloped tract near the heart of our most densly developed areas. Thus with the controversy swirling around the property, we’ll post some photos so you too can see the richness of this cultural resource.

My grandparents were the caretakers of the house for many years (my entire childhood actually). I love the pictures and I think the renovations to the exterior of the house and the land surrounding it show how truly beautiful a place this really is. It’s beauty now matches the warmth that my grandmother spread throughout the inside of the house and the loved that touched all our hearts.
